Live stream on periscope
has never been easier than now!
The Freedocast package
for live broadcast to periscope includes a Freedocast Pro Device, a hot shoe,
an ethernet cable, a HDMI cable, an adapter, and a remote. The process consists
of several steps: creating a Freedocast account, registering your device,
downloading Freedocast Pro App, configuring your device, connecting your device
to App, and finally, live streaming to the periscope.
Let’s go through the process step by step:
Step 1: Create an Account
So first you need to register
on the Freedocast website and create an account.
Step 2: Register Your Device
To register your Freedocast
Pro device you need to go to the Dashboard and then Device
Management and click on Add Device. Enter the box ID which is a six-digit code
you can find at the back of the device, and click Next. Now enter a name for
the device and click Next again to get the Pairing ID which you will then use
to connect the App to the device.
Step 3: Download App
Now simply download the
latest version of Freedocast Pro App which will enable you to control the
device.
Step 4: Configure Device
The next step is
configuring your device. Push the Power button to turn the device on. Connect
the Camera or Video Source to HDMI-IN.
Step 5: Connect Device to App
Once your device is
turned on and the App is opened, turn on Bluetooth on your phone, and select
your device’s box ID. Click on Next. Enter the Pairing ID you got previously
and click n Connect. Select your mode of connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet). You
have successfully connected your device to the app for Android.
For iPhone users, your
Freedocast App has created a temporary hotspot and you should connect to it.
Then go back to the App, select device’s box ID, click on Next and select Wi-Fi
or Ethernet.
Step 6: Live Stream to Periscope
Open your Freedocast Pro
app and select your device. Select the event you want to broadcast live and
then select the platform (here it is Periscope). Click on Next, enter video
title and go live! You can now broadcast to Periscope Live.
